Position: Sr Hadoop Admin
Location: Austin TX (3 days a week onsite)
Duration: 11 Months
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer manage and support large Hadoop node clusters in production environments
- Provide L2/L3 production support for Hadoop platforms
- Monitor cluster performance troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis
- Handle incidents service requests and operational issues with strong ownership
- Collaborate with business users and technical teams to resolve production issues
- Ensure adherence to SLAs and operational best practices
- Participate in on-call and support rotations as required
Required Skills:
Primary Skill:
- Hadoop Administration- Senior Role: Extensive experience in Hadoop production support-
- Mid-Senior Role: Minimum 7 years of L2 Hadoop Admin support experience
- Hands-on experience managing large Hadoop clusters in production
- Strong troubleshooting and operational support skills
- Experience working in enterprise-scale environments
