Job Summary

Title: Dock Window Clerk

Location: Auburn Hills MI

Job Summary

The Dock Window Clerk serves as the first point of contact for inbound and outbound drivers. This role manages truck check-ins dock door assignments daily shipping audits small-shelf pickups ASN creation and end-of-day reporting while maintaining accuracy and safety across all logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

Truck check-ins at the Dock Window; assign dock doors and coordinate traffic flow.
Audit the daily shipping schedule; identify conflicts and escalate as needed.
Handle small-shelf / will-call customer pickups and documentation.
Create and transmit Advanced Shipping Notices (ASNs).
Generate the end-of-day (EOD) open sales order report.
Update the Daily Management Dashboard with throughput exceptions and KPIs.
Collaborate with Shipping Receiving Planning and Customer Service.
Maintain accurate records in Oracle ERP and Ramp ERP (training provided).
Follow all EHS C-TPAT 5S and site safety/housekeeping standards.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree a plus.
1 year experience in logistics/warehouse/dispatch or transportation clerical roles preferred.
Familiarity with dock operations BOLs ASNs and carrier interaction.
Strong attention to detail accuracy and documentation discipline.
Comfortable in a fast-paced customer-facing environment.
Experience with Microsoft 365 Oracle ERP and Ramp ERP is a plus (training provided).
Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and work in a dock environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Oracle EBS/Cloud or yard management tools.
Exposure to ASN creation and EDI workflows.
Lean/Kaizen/5S familiarity.
