Job Summary

In partnership with our client we are seeking a and nbsp;Head of Ads Sales to build and lead a high-impact media business within a fast-growing tech-mobility company. This is more than a leadership role. You will be the owner of a powerful underutilised media asset turning daily commuter attention into a scalable revenue-generating advertising this role you will define the product set the pricing and own the P and amp;L building from the ground up while leveraging a uniquely engaged audience across Lagos and beyond. Who are we looking for
  • You are a seasoned media sales professional with at least 5 years of experience in media sales digital out-of-home or agency business development.
  • You are well connected with direct access to decision-makers across agencies and brands and can open doors quickly.
  • You are an intrapreneur who thrives on ownership and is motivated to build a high-margin revenue engine from the ground up.
  • You are tech fluent and comfortable selling audience segments performance and conversions rather than just static ad space.
  • You are commercially driven with a strong focus on revenue profitability and market expansion.
  • You are adaptable and able to navigate both local and international markets with confidence.
  • You are bilingual with French fluency considered a strong advantage for regional expansion.
Your Responsibilities
Commercial Strategy and Sales
  • You will develop the rate card and go-to-market packages that position the platform as a must-have for brands.
  • You will lead from the front pitching and closing high-value deals with senior marketing leaders across key industries.
  • You will build and maintain strong relationships with media buying agencies ensuring consistent inclusion in media plans.
Product and Inventory Management
  • You will manage advertising inventory across the network ensuring visibility availability and efficient deployment.
  • You will oversee the rollout and maintenance of digital screens and related technology across the fleet.
  • You will ensure campaigns go live on time and that clients receive clear high-quality performance reports.
Financial Ownership
  • You will own the P and amp;L for the ads business driving revenue growth while maintaining strong cost discipline.
  • You will prioritise high-margin offerings and optimise the product mix to sustain profitability.
What Success looks like
  • You achieve strong revenue growth generating significant gross profit within your first 12 months.
  • You maintain a high booking rate across premium advertising inventory.
  • You secure and retain key anchor clients across industries such as banking telecoms and FMCG.
  • You ensure campaigns are delivered seamlessly with accurate and timely reporting and minimal downtime.
To be considered for this role you should have
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in media sales or digital out-of-home.
  • A proven track record of closing high-value deals and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong relationships with marketing agencies and corporate brands.
  • Experience using CRM or inventory management tools.
  • Strong commercial and analytical skills with the ability to manage revenue and margins effectively.
