About The Role

As Statutory Finance Lead youll oversee audit coordination for multiple global markets acting as DBSs main point of contact with both internal teams and external auditors. Youll drive process excellence streamline financial controls and lead cross-team projects that directly impact Dysons global compliance and reputation.

The Statutory Finance Lead will be responsible for:

Audit Leadership

• Serve as the primary contact with the Audit Partner from the DBS side managing all communication and official document exchange.
• Coordinate the execution of all audit calendars ensuring alignment across Compliance Group Tax DBS Departments Financial Controllers Local Markets and external auditors.
• Organise and lead all audit-related meetings for DBS teams both internally and with auditors from planning and kick-off to escalation handling and post-audit debriefs.
• Drive timely execution of the audit process under DBS ownership managing the escalation process as needed.
• Review the audit scope in collaboration with Group Compliance and the Auditor maintaining oversight of requests and task assignments.
• Maintain and oversee the Auditor communication platform to ensure correct participant assignment deadlines and requirements.
• Manage and support the VDI environment for auditors (SAP access and IT issue resolution).
• Support Group audit activities during onsite auditor testing.

Cross-Functional Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement

• Coordinate and monitor deliverables for audit including DBS KPIs under audit working with DBS Operations Managers for ongoing improvement.
• Facilitate effective cross-functional collaboration between DBS teams Internal Control and other stakeholders to ensure compliance and implement improvements.
• Provide expert support to DBS departments to resolve complex audit-related issues.
• Organise and deliver internal training sessions for DBS teams to explain audit processes and procedures.
• Engage DBS Teams Internal Control and other stakeholders to strengthen and evolve compliance processes and the control framework.

Process Improvement & Compliance

• Drive continuous process improvements and automation in Finance Services within the DBS Centre.
• Cooperate with all relevant Dyson teams to create and execute mitigation plans that address audit findings and aim to reduce the number and impact of future findings and adjustments.
• Work with Operations Managers and other stakeholders to identify and roll out best practices for audit preparedness and compliance.
• Maintain a thorough detail-oriented and improvement-focused approach to financial controls and audit processes.

About You

Youre an experienced chief accountant audit or financial control professional who thrives in dynamic multicultural environments. Youre an independent problem-solver a clear communicator and always looking for ways to improve how things are done. Experience with SAP is a bonus; a passion for process improvement is essential.

• Technical Expertise & Qualifications
• University degree in Business Finance Economics or Management (CIMA/ACCA is an asset)
• 57 years experience in Accounting RTR Controlling Statutory Reporting or Audit within an international organisation
• Strong knowledge of SAP (Lean Six Sigma qualification is a plus)
• Fluent in English with a clear concise communication style
