In this role you will drive optimal operational and financial performance (planning costing forecasting cost modeling reporting etc.) and profitability through the Integrated Manufacturing organization within GE Aerospace Poland Legal Entity. The role requires in-depth understanding of key business drivers operational financial accounting and tax complexity of the manufacturing related processes and activities.

This leader will work directly with the Lean Lab Engineering Leaders report directly to Integrated Manufacturing organization and cross functionally to GEAP Finance Manager to drive optimal performance (cost fulfillment quality cash) and profitability through the Supply Chain and Project execution. This person will be critical to enable horizontal cooperation with Engineering Facility Management Sourcing Logistics Quality to optimize operational performance and ensure alignment with broader organizational goals. Part of this role is directly supporting GEAP Finance Manager and Integrated Manufacturing team in implementation of OGA Oracle modules related to Production (Costing Inventory Management Direct Procurement).
The work also involves leading monthly closing and financial reporting reconciliation and analysis of the composition of financial statements and variance analysis including commentary on business drivers of financial performance. This role will also be critical to ensure compliance in statutory tax and government reporting.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Support GEAP Finance Manager in Site strategy and operational execution of manufacturing finance activities coordinating planning pacing and closing activities. Own P&L and balance sheet activities including cost accounting inventory controls (standards variances etc.) product fulfillment and COGS booking functional costs P&E etc.

  • Operational Reviews and Consolidation: Own the consolidation and analysis offinancial data for Monthly Operating Rhythms (MORs) andWeekly Operating Reviews (WORs) ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.

  • Supports Senior Finance Manager in planning and forecasting activities with business partners to achieve productivity and performance goals. Lead and support Long Range Forecast planning cycle monthly estimates and actuals to plan variance analysis.

  • Provides controllership support to Finance Manager local Statutory Team and globalIM/Supply Chain including overseeing close processes financial reporting transfer pricing documentation statutory and government reporting compliance.

  • A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills. Communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered. Provides informal guidance to new team members. Explains complex information to others in straightforward situations.

  • Utilizes technical expertise judgement and flight deck tools to solve problems. Leverages technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team and external consulting to arrive at decisions.

  • Supports implementation of Oracle modules related to manufacturing process (Costing Inventory Management Direct Procurement) and integration with other critical processes and functions such as Logistics Sourcing Facility Management and Quality.

Required Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university or college

  • Solid experience in an accounting or finance position

  • Public Accountant certificate ACCA or CIMA membership or advanced progress in the program will be an advantage

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience in leading monthly financial closing and reporting processes including financials statement analysis journal entry review account reconciliations variance analysis and presentations on results

  • Knowledge of the main US GAAP principles

  • Knowledge of the IFRS and Poland GAP statutory accounting principles

  • Understanding of Poland tax law and proven ability to coordinate complex tax requirements

  • Experience in auditing driving efficiencies and implementing controls in financial processes

  • Advanced and practical skillset in data analysis tools

  • Proven analytical and organizational ability

  • Proven capability to plan and execute several projects simultaneously

  • Proven ability to deliver results on time

  • Excellent teamwork skills; collaborative approach with peers and team members

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

  • Demonstrates Flight Deck concept in action and leverages AI tools to drive continuous improvement
