Responsibilities
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Imaging Assist to provide intermediate to advanced technical support in a fast-paced clinical environment. In this vital role youll work closely with technologists patients and staff to ensure seamless imaging services.
Heres a glimpse of what you can expect when working with us:
- Assisting technologists during imaging exams to enhance efficiency and patient comfort
- Educating patients on exam preparation and ensuring a smooth supportive experience
- Coordinating patient flow within the imaging department and managing inpatient transport
- Handling critical administrative tasks such as correspondence paperwork processing and report generation
- Utilizing imaging PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) for efficient data management

- Demonstrates strong expertise in patient safety exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to delivering exceptional support and customer service in a fast-paced imaging environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare teams.

Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
Experience
- 1 year of experience in a healthcare environment requiredorSuccessful completion/current enrollment in a nursing or allied health program required
- Experience working in Medical Imaging preferred
Licenses and Certifications
- BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
