Youll work as part of high-performing team on a broad range of clients and assignments that will stretch and challenge you. Youll be encouraged and expected to take accountability and make an impact.
Your key responsibilities
- Participate in performing audit procedures especially focusing on complex and/or specialized issues.
- Collaborate to plan objectives and an audit strategy that complies with professional standards and appropriately addresses risk.
- Develop people by encouraging individuals to think for themselves and take responsibility for their contributions to the team.
- Delegate work successfully. Conduct timely performance reviews and lead by example.
- Use technology to continually learn share knowledge with team members and enhance service delivery.
Skills and attributes for success
- Knowledge of English at intermediate level or above
- Confidence in PC use (Word Excel PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of local GAAP (Romanian accounting) and basic knowledge of IFRS
Ideally youll also
- Have previous experience in audit or accounting
- Possess an understanding of risk-based auditing and risk and control strategies
- Demonstrate compliance with and understanding of regulatory requirements
- Work effectively as a team member sharing responsibility and providing support
- Perform or supervise the execution of audit procedures in accordance with EYs methodology and quality standards
- Be involved in preparing reports and schedules delivered to clients and other parties
