The role

12 DevOps EngineerHybrid Dorking or Basingstoke
3 days a week minimum in office
What will you bring
We are hiring a DevOps Engineer who will be a key member of the UK Engineering and DevOps Team providing expertise and automation solutions to the wider IT Delivery department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design build and configure software solutions with minimal supervision.
- Collaborate within an agile team to deliver a high-quality Developer Platform.
- Support delivery teams with configuration of CI/CD pipelines and SDLC tooling.
- Adopt demonstrate and share good DevOps and Platform Engineering practices.
- Collaborate with Developers Infrastructure Engineers Platform Engineers and Information Security.
- Ensure that solutions are secure and scalable. Comply with defined standards and best practices.
Skills and Experience:
- Software development experience in at least one Python Azure Powershell bash.
- Strong technical design problem-solving and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Working knowledge of DevOps concepts security and practices.
- Experience with modern technologies such as virtualisation containerisation and cloud (preferably Azure).
- Confident when consulting with delivery teams. Able to champion DevOps practices.
- Keen to engage in technical and process improvement discussions.
- Focused on continuous improvement through experimentation training and certification.
- Able to demonstrate a driven attitude working hard to successfully deliver projects on-time and on-budget.
