The Team:
The Pipelines and Facilities team maintain a comprehensive global database covering oil and gas transportation processing and primary market infrastructure. The team is responsible for assetlevel coverage across pipelines gas plants refineries LNG facilities petrochemical plants and power plants. Working as part of a diverse global group team members collaborate closely to research validate and maintain highquality midstream data supporting business insights and client decisionmaking across global markets.
The Impact:
This role supports the business by ensuring the accuracy consistency and scalability of midstream infrastructure data used across products and client workflows. Through highquality secondary research and data transformation the role directly enables informed decisionmaking for clients and internal stakeholders across global energy markets.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct secondary research to collect validate and analyze data from multiple credible sources ensuring accuracy and consistency across datasets.
- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends patterns gaps and correlations that support data transformation and quality initiatives.
- Interpret research findings and translate them into structured decisionready data aligned with defined business rules and standards.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including data stewards product and technology to understand requirements and deliver datadriven insights.
- Respond promptly and effectively to internal and external client inquiries providing accurate data support and clarifications as needed.
- Support pipeline reviews and asset additions by interpreting maps and spatial data leveraging ArcGIS and related tools for validation and accuracy.
What Were Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in a quantitative or domainrelevant field such as Geology Chemical Engineering Energy Engineering or an MBA in Oil & Gas.
- 13 years of experience in secondary research data collection and handling structured or unstructured datasets.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to interpret complex information from multiple sources.
- Proficiency in GIS tools with the ability to read interpret and validate maps and spatial data.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of SQL Power BI or similar data and visualization tools.
- Exposure to data transformation automation or workflow tools is an advantage.
- Willingness to learn emerging skills such as prompt engineering and AIassisted research techniques.
