Job Title: Jasper Reports Developer
Location: Austin TX
Work Type: 100% Remote in USA

Job Description:
This Senior role perform advanced analysis involving all aspects of supporting improving and enhancing the database and reports for a large project.
This position requires strong SQL PL/SQL and Stored Procedure skills. The worker will also devise approaches to solving complex problems provide thought leadership manage project scope and provide ongoing updates on
project status.
The worker will also need to exhibit a high level of skill in data aggregation and analysis. This position works for section of IT-SEDS (Information Technology - Statewide Education Data System).
Work assignments follow a defined software development life cycle (SDLC) process using an Agile-like approach for completing code changes for defined releases.
This role works across multiple agency stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and efficacy of created reports in the service of Texass 1200 school districts.

Required Qualifications:
Strong expertise in Jasper Reports for report development and customization
Hands-on experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programming
Proficiency in storing querying and manipulating JSON data within Oracle databases
Experience in creating complex queries views and data models using JSON-based data
Ability to optimize performance of stored procedures and views for efficient data access
Experience with technical documentation and maintaining development artifacts
Strong skills in development and unit testing practices
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and working in Agile environments
