Junior Compliance Controller (fm)

Junior Compliance Controller oversees handling day-to-day operations related to the compliance with Groups Finance and Legal Policies and Procedures. This challenging position requires good oversight a range of organizational skills and knowledge of procedures and internal regulations. You will have an integral role in keeping our international operations running smoothly.

Purpose of the Role:

Ensure adherence to the companys Spending and Contracting Authority Policy by monitoring approval limits managing deviation requests and supporting leaders in compliance with internal governance standards.

The main responsibilities:

• Communicating policy changes and ensuring understanding across all levels
• Tracking spending & contracting activities to ensure compliance with established authority limits
• Identifying transactions exceeding delegated limits and reporting to the relevant decision-makers
• Coordinating deviation approval process including documentation review justification review and escalation to appropriate leadership levels
• Maintaining records of all deviations for audit and reporting purposes
• Advising leaders on compliance requirements and best practices
• Collaborating with Legal Finance Controlling and Procurement teams to mitigate risks related to non-compliance
• Preparing periodic reports on policy adherence and deviations for senior management

Other Assignments:

• Promoting effective work practices working as a team member within demanding and international environment
• Offering alternative solutions when a request cannot be fulfilled or can be fulfilled more efficiently
• Utilizing appropriate technology to complete various responsibilities and high volume of documents
• Assisting with ad-hoc projects when necessary

Qualifications :

Essential qualifications:

• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Bachelors degree
• Knowledge of legal principles and practices
• Proficient in Excel PowerPoint Outlook and SharePoint;
