Business Continuity & Internal Control Manager
Job Summary
Business Continuity & Internal Controls Lead will be responsible for ensuring the resilience of business operations and strengthening the internal control environment across finance and operational processes.
You will play a key role in driving the Business Continuity Management (BCM) program supporting audit readiness and leading continuous improvement initiatives while managing a small team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and continuously improve the Business Continuity Management (BCM) program across GBS Europe ensuring business resilience and readiness for crises
- Conduct Business Impact Analyses (BIA) risk assessments and define recovery objectives for critical processes and services
- Develop maintain and test Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) including coordination of exercises and follow-up actions
- Collaborate with IT Disaster Recovery process owners and crisis management teams to align business and technology recovery strategies
- Oversee and enhance internal controls across finance and operational processes performing testing gap analysis and remediation tracking
- Maintain process and control documentation ensuring compliance and readiness for internal and external audits
- Promote risk awareness control ownership and best practices providing guidance and support to stakeholders
- Lead a small team providing day-to-day guidance prioritization and driving continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications :
Core Skills:
- Strong stakeholder management and facilitation across business finance and IT
- Ability to work independently and drive initiatives across multiple teams
- Fluent English (C1) with excellent documentation reporting and presentation skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel PowerPoint); comfortable with KPIs evidence management and reporting
- Experience in GBS / Shared Services environments ideally with exposure to finance operations and internal controls
- Solid understanding of accounting and finance processes internal control principles and audit requirements
