Job Summary
Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Long Term Care (LTC)
Location: New Oxford PA
Duration: Assignment-based (Travel/Contract)
Shift: Variable shifts (8-hour shifts)
Schedule: 5 days/week (40 hours guaranteed)
Position Summary
A healthcare facility is seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) with experience in Long Term Care (LTC). The ideal candidate will provide quality patient care while working efficiently in a fast-paced skilled nursing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a long-term care setting
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the care team
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure continuity of care
- Follow infection control and safety protocols
Requirements
- Active LVN/LPN license required
- Prior Long Term Care (LTC) experience preferred
- Strong clinical and patient care skills
- Ability to work variable 8-hour shifts
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
