- Support the Director (EDP) in managing engineering design processes for marine vessels and offshore structures.
- Prepare review and maintain technical documentation drawings and specifications in compliance with class society standards (e.g. ABS DNV LR).
- Coordinate with design procurement and shipyard teams to ensure timely delivery of engineering packages.
- Assist in the preparation of project schedules milestone tracking and progress reports for internal and client-facing stakeholders.
- Participate in design reviews risk assessments and technical meetings to ensure adherence to safety quality and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of engineering changes approvals and revisions using document management systems.
- Support the implementation of digital engineering tools and EDP workflows to enhance efficiency and data integrity.
- Act as a point of contact for internal teams and external partners on technical queries related to engineering deliverables.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process gaps and proposing solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Marine Engineering Naval Architecture Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Fresh graduate with no prior work experience required; strong academic performance is preferred.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD SolidWorks or CATIA) and familiarity with engineering data management systems.
- Basic understanding of marine industry standards class rules and shipbuilding processes.
- Strong analytical organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
