Job Summary

Title: Manager Business Process & Quality Excellence (Transactional / BPO)
Location: Cape Town

A global organisation specialising in data analytics digital transformation and business process solutions supporting clients across multiple industries to improve efficiency and drive growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance & Monitoring
Develop and implement quality frameworks for transactional processes
Conduct audits reviews and transaction sampling to ensure accuracy and compliance
Monitor performance metrics (accuracy timeliness compliance) and identify areas for improvement

Process Improvement

Analyse root causes of errors and implement corrective and preventative actions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve workflows and reduce inefficiencies
Drive adoption of automation and digital tools to enhance quality

Training & Development
Design and deliver training programmes to improve awareness of quality standards (as needed)
Coach and mentor team members on best practices for accuracy and compliance

Stakeholder Management
Partner with business leaders to align quality objectives with organisational goals
Prepare and present reports dashboards and insights to senior management
Act as a liaison between operations and compliance/regulatory stakeholders

Risk & Compliance
Ensure adherence to internal policies regulations and data protection standards
Identify risks in transactional processes and implement mitigation strategies

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Business Administration Finance Operations or related field (Masters preferred)
34 years experience in quality management with at least 3 years in a transactional or back-office BPO environment
Proven experience leading process improvement or transformation initiatives with measurable impact
Experience mentoring Lean Six Sigma projects (Green Belt / Black Belt level)
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification (preferred)
Insurance industry experience (advantageous)
Exposure to multiple client environments
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to engage and present to senior stakeholders
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
