EPC Services Company a leading power/utility engineering consultant and construction firm has immediate openings for full-time High Voltage Electrical Estimators. Positions are available in the coporate office in Billings MT as well as several nationwide branches.
Estimators having experienc in the technology supply chain commercial transactions installation labor resources and bidding practices for electrical power delivery projects. Typical project voltages range from 34.5 kV through 500 kV and include battery energy storage facilities substations switchyeards HV transmission lines as well as minor comonents of distrubution and industrial power systems. Experience and knowledge in both office estimating and field construction for power delivery facilities is a basic qualification for this position. Knowledge of current market conditions includisve of large power apparatus IBEW and non-union labor practicies means and methods approach to construction development of construction schedules construction management and a basic working knowledge of the engineering services required for preparation of bids for EPC project execution are desirable attributes.
Minimum Requirements:Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Electrical Engineering Technology or Construction Management and experience in office estimating and field construction for power delivery facilities are required. An understanding of large power apparatus IBEW and non-union labor practies construction schedules and management highlypreferred. Excellent organizational skills; strong written and verbal communication skills; working knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications including Excel Word Outlook and Teams; experience with Vista (Viewpoint) software a plus. The successful applicant may be subject to client-mandated drug and background checking. Occasional travel/driving is required; therefore the successful applicant will be subject to EPC Services auto insurance carrier requirements.
