Job Summary
Responsible for assembling various documents and/or customer provided materials into completed kits
Responsibilities:
- Perform pre-assembly duties such as; prepping boxes stocking assembly area gathering materials and organizing work area
- Follow detailed procedures to perform routine packing work collating materials as necessary
- Pick and package a variety of printed materials or related items that require a variety of packing procedures and techniques.
- Assemble finished products into boxes or containers for shipping in accordance with customer specifications
- Count and sort inventory as required
- May prepare shipments of customer samples.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Prior warehouse or kitting experience preferred
- Must have the ability to read and interpret job specifications and identifying the correct parts for fulfilling customer orders.
- Basic communication skills (written and/or verbal).
- Basic knowledge of routine packing procedures techniques equipment and general warehouse procedures.
- Able to stock move arrange and rotate items in accordance with operating instructions or under guidance of a higher-level employee.
- Able to complete appropriate forms relating to stock description quantity unit of issue and the labeling requirements for incoming and outgoing materials.
- Skill in assembling standard shipping boxes and packing contents securely.
- Basic arithmetic to add subtract multiply and divide.
- Must be willing to flex schedule to meet the needs of production including working overtime or a different shift if needed.
- Must be able to use a ladder to pick items or to retrieve boxes or materials.
- Must be able to stand and move about the facility for long period of time
- Must be able to lift pull and push up to 60 lbs frequently
- Share your expertise and help train other employees as assigned
Additional Information :
The pay range for this role at the noted location is $15.65 to $20.20 per hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon but not limited to: education skills experience proficiency performance shift and addition to base salary depending on the role the total compensation package may also include a sign-on bonus of $XXXX overtime shift differential call-in and stand-by pay.
