About the role Mō te tūranga

As an Operator at Miners Road Quarry you will be responsible for operating machinery as well as the crushing plant to complete skilled tasks related to quarry works.

Key responsibilities Ngā kawenga matua

Complete all necessary pre-start and machinery checks.
Assist with the operation of the crushing plant.
Operate loaders to complete tasks such as stockpiling aggregate loading customer trucks and feeding the crushing plant.
Always maintain a tidy site.
Liaise with customers and the team on site to consistently fulfil their requirements.

Were looking for someone with Kei te kimi mātou i tētahi e whai ana i ēnei pūkenga

Full Clean Class 1 Licence.
WTR endorsements are advantageous however not essential.
Mechanical aptitude.
A proactive approach towards health and safety its our #1 priority.
Flexibility to perform various daily tasks and grow with the team
The ability to communicate effectively within a team environment.
A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and upskill
