Job Summary
Role Title: Quarry Operator
Location: Nelson
Contract Type: Permanent Full Time

Due to staff movements we have a position in our Quarry for an experienced Quarry this role you will operate range of machinery to help deliver work for our customers safely on time and to the highest quality standard.
Ngā kawenga matua Key responsibilities
- Complete all necessary pre-start and machinery checks
- Liaise with customers and the team on site to fulfil their requirements
- Operate heavy machinery to load customer trucks stockpile material and feed the crusher plant as required
- Assist Quarry Operations Manager with day-to-day maintenance of plant and other site tasks

- Full Clean Class 4 Licence
- WTR endorsements
- Previous experience operating trucks/heavy machinery in a quarry environment
- A proactive approach towards health and safety its our #1 priority
- Flexibility to perform various daily tasks and grow with the team
- The ability to communicate effectively within a team environment
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and upskill
