Downer are proudly supporting a range of exciting projects across Gisborne. The Downer South division is highly respected and has a great track record for delivering a high standard of work across the are looking for an experienced or up-and-coming Specialist Operator.

Working alongside our dedicated team based at the Quarry you may operate machinery including Crusher Plants Bulldozers Loaders and Excavators.

Nga pūkenga matua Important Skills

Youwill be a physically fit and motivated person and will bring with you.

A can do attitude to compliment the team in solving day to day challenges
Must have experience operating heavy machinery in a quarry environment e.g. Dump trucks Excavators Loaders Bulldozers and Crushing Plants
Ability to complete tasks that involve heavy lifting and manual work
Enjoy working outdoors and keeping physically fit
Mechanically minded
Must have a Class 2 licence and WTR
