The Director of IT Colibrium Additive is a key member of both the Colibrium Additive leadership team and the Digital Technology (DT) leadership team for GE Propulsion & Additive Technologies (P&AT) within GE Aerospace.This role is responsible for defining and executing the IT and digital technology strategy for Colibrium Additive ensuring seamless integration of IT systems optimizing digital processes strengthening cyber security and enabling business growth through technology. The Director will lead a global IT team partner closely with business and functional leaders and ensure that technology investments are aligned to business outcomes customer value and GE Aerospaces priorities in Safety Quality Delivery and Cost (SQDC).
This role reports functionally to the CIO P&AT operationally to the CEO of Colibrium Additive.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership and Business Partnership
- Act as a key member of theP&AT DT leadership teamand theColibrium Additive leadership team providing thought leadership on technology strategy and digital transformation.
- Partner with business operational engineering and functional leaders to ensure technology investments areprioritized and governedto drive measurable business customer and operational value.
Technology Strategy Architecture and Operations
- Oversee thedesign implementation and lifecycle managementof IT systems networks applications and platforms.
- Ensure thesecurity reliability scalability and complianceof the technology landscape including on-premise and cloud environments in alignment with GE Aerospace DT standards and policies.
AI Data and Digital Innovation
- Define anAI strategy and implementation roadmapfor Colibrium Additive including use cases that drive productivity safety quality and customer value.
- Drive the adoption ofadvanced digital tools including cloud solutions data platforms analytics automation and industrial/digital thread capabilities that support additive manufacturing.
Team Leadership and Talent Development
- Lead coach and develop aglobal team of IT and DT professionals fostering a culture of inclusion continuous improvement and high performance.
- Build organizational capabilities in areas such ascloud cybersecurity data & analytics product management and agile delivery.
Financial Management and Vendor Strategy
- ManageIT budget for Colibrium Additive with a strong focus oncost optimization productivity and value realization.
- Establish and managevendor and service provider relationships ensuring performance service quality and commercial value (including contracts SLAs and renewals).
Cybersecurity Risk and Compliance
- Develop implement and enforcepolicies standards and controlsto protect company data intellectual property and systems in alignment with GE Aerospace and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with GE Aerospace cyber and compliance teams to ensure adherence toIT security export control data privacy and regulatoryobligations.
Minimum Qualifications For Candidates in US:
- Bachelors degreefrom an accredited university or college with a minimum of8 yearsof professional experience
- ORAssociates degreewith a minimum of11 yearsof professional experience
- ORHigh School Diplomawith a minimum of13 yearsof professional experience
- Minimum5 years of professional experiencein IT or a closely related digital technology domain
- Significant leadership experienceleading IT or DT professionals and teams
- Note:Military experienceis equivalent to professional experience

- Cross-functional influence:Strong cross-functional collaboration and influencing skills with experience working inmatrixed and global environments.
- Project and portfolio management:Strong project/program management skills with the ability toprioritize effectively manage dependencies and deliver results across multiple initiatives.
- Technical acumen:Solid understanding of core IT domains (infrastructure networking cybersecurity applications cloud data & analytics) and the ability to relatehigh-level technical architectures to industry trendsand business needs.
- Change leadership:Demonstrated ability to lead organizations throughchange and digital transformation including adoption of new tools processes and ways of working.
- Manufacturing / industrial familiarity (preferred):Experience in Aerospace industrial manufacturing or high-technology environments ideally with exposure toadditive manufacturing or advanced engineering.
- Travel:Ability to traveldomestically and internationally up to 20%of the time.
