Job Summary
POSITIONSUMMARY
The Controller will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records related to one of the US Anderson SC business. This position will also partner up with the various Finance and Business managers to AmericasController and will have between 10 and 12 team members reporting to him/ interaction with other departments businessdisciplinesandinternationaloperationswillberequiredbythisindividual. Thispositionwouldrequire5%oftravel within and outside the country.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitoraccountingactivitiesandreviewrelatedmanualjournalentriesatmonthendclose.
- Manageprojectaccountingactivitiessuchasrevenue &costrecognitionandwork inprogressunbilledanddeferredrevenue control.
- Manageaccountspayablesteamensuringaccuracyinprocessingtimelypaymentscollectionandaccurate monthly reporting. Process and approve weekly check run and manage the cash flows.
- Workwiththefinanceteamonthereviewofmajoraccruals( freight among others).
- Reviewvariousfinancialstatementsanalyticsandprovideexplanationsforrelatedfluctuationsasrequired.
- Providebusinesspartnershipsupport.
- Reviewmonthlyfinancialstatementspriortopromotion.
- Assistwithinternalandexternalaudits.
- Assistwithcontinuousimprovementsinitiativesasrequired.
- Promoteapositiveworkingenvironmentthatencouragesemployeeinvolvementtoachieveexcellenceinproductivity customer service and quality.
- Activelyparticipateandinitiateprocessimprovementstoorganizationalprocesses.
- Demonstrate leadership behaviors that supports continued growth and development and company mission andvalues.
QUALIFICATIONS

- In-depthknowledgeofUSGAAP.
- VeryproficientinspreadsheetsdatabasesMSOfficeandfinancialsoftwareapplications.
- Strongorganizationalandprojectmanagementskills.
- Confidenceinchallengingthestatusquo;alwaysonthelookoutforcontinuousimprovementopportunities.
- Theabilitytogofast;thedesiretohelpothersgofaster.
- Outstandingpresentationreportingandcommunicationskills.
PreferredQualifications:
- ExperiencewithOracle
- Bi-lingual(EnglishandSpanish).
