Duties and responsibilities:
Office Management:

Manage the diary of the Programme Director and Head of the School.
Type correspondence and reports of the Head of the School and Programme Director.
Arrange meetings make appointments and conduct follow-ups for the Programme Director.
Receive documents/mail from other departments and Programme Director for the distribution to staff members etc.
Provide secretarial services for staff meetings the Engaged Scholarship Workgroup and the Advisory Board including attendance registers agendas minutes and distribution of documents.
Make photocopies and send e-mails to and from the Programme Director.
Make copies of important documents and reports for safekeeping.
Assist with updating and filing MOAs/documents.
Book venues for meetings and workshops of the School.
Follow up with HR regarding leave (annual/sick and special leave) of staff members.
Assist with SANC-related matters including correspondence filing of documentation the couriering of documentation and follow up on delivery.
Perform any other related and/or relevant responsibilities as requested and agreed upon with the Programme Director.

Client Support:
Answer and make telephone calls.
Schedule appointments with staff members and students.
Liaise with relevant internal University staff regarding meetings appointments and policies.
Liaise externally with other universities the Department of Health South Africa Nursing Council FUNDISA and nursing colleges.

Academic Administration:
Assist with preparation of curricula documentation for submission to SANC including copying filing and packaging of documents for courier purposes.

Inherent requirements:
A relevant bachelors degree or an Advanced Diploma/B. Tech degree/Postgraduate Certificate on NQF Level 7 or a 3-year National Diploma on NQF Level 6.
Minimum of one (1) year of relevant working experience in office management/administration within the higher education environment.

Recommendations:
Knowledge of MS Teams Outlook and PeopleSoft system.

Salary:
The annual remuneration package including benefits is RRper annum depending on the budget available for the position relevant work experience and qualifications.
