Cancer Care Alberta invites applicants to apply for a Locum Pediatric Oncologist position in the Departments of Child Health Oncology and Pediatrics Edmonton.
The successful applicant will join the clinical section of IHOPE (Immunology Hematology Oncology and Palliative care) which includes eight pediatric oncologists as well as pediatric hematology immunology and palliative care subspecialists and The Northen Alberta Childrens Cancer Program. We have an active basic and clinical science program with collaborations locally nationally and Northern Alberta Childhood Cancer Program sees patientsfrom across Northern Alberta Northen British Columbia and the Northwest programis anactive contributorto the Childrens Oncology Group andothercooperative clinicalgrouptrials we have aRoyal College accredited subspecialty trainingprogram inPediatricHematology-Oncologyand our program iswellsupportedbyallpediatric subspecialties within the Stollery includingexperiencedpediatricsurgeonspediatric radiologists pediatric radiation oncologists and pediatricpathologists.
Depending upon the qualifications and experience of the applicant this position will be comprised of 100% clinical successfulcandidatewillbeexpected toprovide highqualityin-patient andout-patient care to a variety of Pediatric Oncology patients as part of a multidisciplinary team at the Stollery Childrens Hospital Alberta Health Services.
Interested applicants must hold an MD and must have completed a subspecialty residency in Pediatric Oncology.
