Overview
Ansible Government Solutions LLC (Ansible) is currently seeking Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologiststo support operations at the Minneapolis VA Health Care System located at One Veterans Drive Minneapolis MN 55417. The schedule is typically Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm with occasional evening and weekend coverage as needed. Responsibilities
- Perform MRI imaging procedures in a clinical hospital setting following established imaging protocols
- Prepare position and monitor patients during MRI exams ensuring comfort and safety
- Operate MRI equipment including calibration setup and image acquisition
- Review image quality and communicate with radiologists as needed for diagnostic accuracy
- Adhere to all MRI safety protocols including screening for implants and metal exposure
- Document all procedures and patient care activities in the VA electronic health record (CPRS)
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA VA privacy and information security requirements
- Participate in quality assurance (QA/QI) activities and patient safety reporting
- Collaborate with radiologists physicians nurses and imaging staff
- Attend required VA orientation training and ongoing education
- Maintain accurate time and attendance records and sign in/out daily
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of MRI experience as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist
- Demonstrated technical proficiency in MRI imaging
- ARRT certification in MRI R.T.(MR)(ARRT) active and unrestricted
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
- Must have proven clinical work experience within the past 12 months

All candidates must be able to:
- Sit stand walk lift squat bend twist and reach above shoulders during the work shift
- Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
- Lift up to 20 lbs
- Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
- Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
