Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Reception Desk in New Orleans LA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. Our Armed Front Desk Officers at a busy healthcare location serve as a welcoming professional presence supporting access control visitor assistance and other security-related this stationary post you will use strong communication and customer service skills to help to deter incidents while responding to site needs with integrity. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients visitors staff and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures and front desk protocols in a healthcare location.
- Monitor lobby and reception activity help to manage access control verify identification and/or visitor authorization and document arrivals departures and deliveries.
- Respond to incidents unusual activity and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting site contacts and emergency responders when appropriate.
- Answer phones provide directions and relay information to appropriate departments while maintaining awareness of security-related concerns at the front desk.
- Complete required reports logs and incident documentation and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal leadership and/or site representatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related law enforcement and/or military experience.
- Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
