Location: Columbia SC
Shift: Day Shift 5x8 Hours (40 hours/week MondayFriday; varied start times between 7:00 AM 9:00 AM)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist with strong Neuro IR experience to support a high-volume imaging department. The ideal candidate will be skilled in assisting with minimally invasive image-guided procedures and maintaining a safe efficient clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians during interventional and neuro-interventional radiology procedures
- Prepare procedure rooms ensuring all equipment and supplies are sterile and ready
- Operate imaging equipment to support accurate real-time guidance during procedures
- Monitor patients and assist with pre- and post-procedure care
- Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols
- Handle and prepare contrast media and other required materials
- Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology
- Neuro Interventional Radiology experience required
- Strong knowledge of IR procedures equipment and sterile techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced high-acuity environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in high-volume hospital or trauma settings
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing procedural needs
