Job Summary
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room (OR)
Location: Atlanta GA
Shift: Day Shift 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
Duration: 13 Weeks
Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) with strong vascular and endovascular surgical experience. The ideal candidate must have prior travel experience in a large Level 1 Trauma facility and be capable of working in a high-acuity fast-paced surgical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room
- Assist surgeons during vascular and endovascular procedures
- Prepare operating rooms instruments and sterile environments
- Monitor patients before during and after surgical procedures
- Ensure adherence to sterile techniques and patient safety protocols
- Collaborate with surgical teams and interdisciplinary staff
- Document procedures and patient care accurately
Required Qualifications:
- Active RN License (state-specific as applicable)
- Minimum 2 years of OR experience
- Prior travel experience in a large Level 1 Trauma facility (required)
- Strong vascular and endovascular experience (must be clearly listed on resume)
- High competency across all areas of the skills checklist
Required Certifications:
- BLS (AHA) (additional certifications as applicable)
