Job Summary
RSU 19 is anticipating a high school English Teacher vacancy at Nokomis Regional High in Newport Maine beginning with the next 2026-27 school year. Nokomis is a dynamic and supportive learning community dedicated to academic excellence and student success. We are committed to providing a well-rounded education that inspires lifelong learning critical thinking and responsible citizenship.
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable educator to join our high school faculty. The ideal candidate will possess a love of reading and writing a dedication to students and an eagerness to be a collaborative and innovative member of our English Department.
An additional asset would be a background and/or passion for Classical Studies and Latin.
