Job Summary

Job Description Corporate FCL Export Customer Service

Executive / Senior Executive / Assistant Manager Customer Service

Location: Andheri Marol (Mumbai)

Reporting To: Operations Manager / Branch Manager

Qualification:

  • Graduate (Any discipline)

Experience: 35 years of relevant experience

Industry Preference:

  • Courier / Transportation / Freight Forwarding / Warehousing

Key Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of Export Customer Service

  • Experience in handling FCL Desk operations

  • Good coordination communication & problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities

1. Factory Stuffing Operations

  • Coordinate with pricing desk for competitive quotations

  • Check requirements such as free days Carrier B/L Allcargo B/L

  • Confirm bookings and issue delivery orders to clients

  • Track and share container details with operations team

  • Create booking numbers and manage documentation

  • Follow up for Bill of Lading (B/L) instructions from clients

  • Prepare Container Load Plans

  • Finalize bookings considering FAC / shifting charges

  • File Shipping Instructions (SI) before container gate-in

  • Follow up for shipping bill copies

  • Ensure shipment is loaded on planned vessel

  • Communicate rollovers to clients (if any)

  • Prepare accurate challans based on carrier debit notes

  • Coordinate for release of Carrier B/L with documentation team

2. Dock Stuffing Operations

  • Obtain booking details from operations desk

  • Follow up with clients on cargo readiness

  • Coordinate container number and seal details

  • Share details with clients for B/L instructions

  • Manage B/L instructions and booking finalization

  • File SI prior to gate-in

  • Track shipment loading and manage rollovers

  • Prepare challans and coordinate documentation

  • Ensure timely release of Carrier B/L

3. Customer Service & Coordination

  • Handle client queries and resolve grievances promptly

  • Provide timely shipment updates and status reports

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction

  • Deliver value-added services to clients

  • Strong understanding of export logistics and FCL operations

  • Customer-centric approach with good communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines

Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills
