Overview
A boutique management consulting firm is seeking a Business Transformation Consultant to help bridge the gap between strategy and execution. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity enjoys solving complex business problems and excels at aligning people process and technology to deliver meaningful outcomes.
This is not a traditional project management role. Instead you will partner with senior leaders program teams and clients to design solutions improve operations and support successful implementation with a strong focus on end-user experience and adoption.
Core Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Process Improvement
- Facilitate discovery sessions stakeholder interviews and workshops to assess client needs
- Analyze current-state processes and identify opportunities for improvement
- Design future-state workflows and operating models
- Apply structured methodologies to solve complex operational challenges
Transformation & Implementation Support
- Support execution of business and system transformation initiatives
- Ensure alignment between business requirements system capabilities and user needs
- Collaborate with project teams to address implementation challenges and risks
- Translate ambiguous requirements into clear actionable plans and deliverables
Change Management & Adoption
- Support organizational change management initiatives including communications and training
- Drive stakeholder engagement and user adoption strategies
- Develop materials to support end-user readiness and experience optimization
Client Engagement & Facilitation
- Act as a trusted advisor and thought partner to clients
- Lead and facilitate workshops design sessions and problem-solving discussions
- Present insights recommendations and solutions to client stakeholders
- Build strong client relationships across cross-functional teams
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with program managers senior consultants and client teams
- Contribute across multiple projects with adaptability and flexibility
- Support delivery of high-quality consulting outputs and client outcomes
Qualifications & Experience
Experience
- Experience in business transformation consulting or operational improvement roles
- Background in one or more of the following:
- Business Analysis
- Process Improvement / Process Design
- Change Management
- Operations / Strategy Execution
- Product Management or Service Design
- Experience working in client-facing or consulting environments preferred
- Exposure to system or operational implementations
Technical Competencies
- Strong understanding of process mapping workflow design and operational modeling
- Familiarity with change management frameworks (e.g. Prosci or similar)
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies
- Exposure to human-centered design customer experience (CX) or service design principles
- Ability to structure and deliver analysis presentations and business documentation
Professional Skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and operate with minimal direction
- Excellent facilitation communication and storytelling skills
- Proven ability to translate complex ideas into clear actionable insights
- Strong interpersonal skills and relationship-building capabilities

- Ability to manage multiple priorities across different clients and projects
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma or process optimization frameworks
- Exposure to organizational change management methodologies (e.g. Prosci)
- Experience supporting technology implementations or digital transformation initiatives
- Familiarity with design thinking or human-centered design methodologies
- Experience working with public sector clients
