Opportunity Overview
We are seeking an experienced licensed HVAC technician to partner with us as an independent contractor to support ongoing and upcoming residential construction and renovation projects. This opportunity is ideal for a self-employed professional who operates their own business and is looking to supplement their project pipeline with consistent opportunities.
Scope of Work
The independent contractor will provide HVAC services which may include:
- Installation of HVAC systems ductwork and equipment
- System replacements and upgrades
- Troubleshooting and diagnostics
- Preventive maintenance and repairs
- Reading and interpreting plans and specifications
- Coordinating with project teams and other trades
- Ensuring work meets applicable codes and quality standards
Contractor Requirements
- Active HVAC license (as required by state/local regulations)
- Operates an independent business entity or sole proprietorship
- Own tools equipment and transportation
- General liability insurance (COI required)
- Ability to manage schedule and workload independently
- Strong workmanship and attention to detail
- Reliable communication and professionalism
Compensation
- Project-based or negotiated per scope
