Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Reception Concierge in New Orleans LA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic healthcare location as an Armed Front Desk Professional where you will greet visitors manage access monitor for security-related concerns and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and this stationary role you will represent our agile reliable and innovative team with integrity helping to address front desk needs while delivering outstanding service in a people-first culture.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures managing visitor access and supporting security-related protocols for a healthcare location.
- Monitor lobby and entrance activity verify identification and/or credentials as required and help to deter unauthorized access in a courteous professional manner.
- Respond to incidents questions and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting appropriate staff and/or emergency responders when needed.
- Maintain accurate front desk logs visitor records and incident documentation and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal personnel.
- Support a welcoming environment for patients visitors and staff while reinforcing security-related policies and directing people to the appropriate department or destination.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of armed security-related law enforcement and/or military experience.
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
