Tasks
Overall responsibility for transportation operations of Hankook business (Magdeburg & Bodenheim)
Act as the primary operational contact for transport-related topics
Manage inbound (port/warehouse) and outbound (customer delivery) transport flows
Ensure compliance with delivery slots RDD and customer requirements
Monitor KPIs (OTD cost utilization) and drive corrective actions
Manage carrier performance and handle escalations
Optimize transport cost and efficiency (mode selection consolidation)
Coordinate with internal teams (Warehouse Finance IT HQ)
Lead operational reviews and support data-driven decision making
Drive continuous improvement and standardization initiatives
Ensure smooth daily operation and issue resolutionSupport implementation of process improvements automation and standardization initiatives
Ensure continue improvement through feedback loops with customers
Requirements
- Experience: 510 years in transport / logistics operations
- Transport planning (FTL/LTL) KPI management carrier management European distribution network
- Ability to manage operational data and KPIs into actionable insights
- Customer-specific logistics operations experience
- Handling complex operational escalations
- Experience with TMS/WMS systems (Cello preferred)
