The Cluster Business Head Cross Sell Channel (Direct Channel) will be responsible for driving business growth by managing and leading a team of Field Relationship Managers (FRMs) and Senior Field Relationship Managers across the assigned cluster. The role focuses on generating cross-sell business through the direct channel achieving revenue targets and strengthening customer relationships while ensuring operational efficiency and team productivity.
The candidate must possess strong leadership skills sales management capabilities and experience in managing field sales teams within the Banking Insurance NBFC or Financial Services industry.
Key Responsibilities 1. Business Development & Revenue Generation
- Drive cross-sell revenue through the Direct Channel across the assigned cluster.
- Achieve monthly quarterly and annual sales targets set by the organization.
- Identify new business opportunities within existing customer bases.
- Promote and cross-sell financial products such as insurance loans investment products or other financial solutions.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue generation.
2. Team Leadership & Management
- Manage and lead a team of Field Relationship Managers (FRMs) and Senior FRMs.
- Ensure team productivity and target achievement through continuous monitoring and support.
- Conduct regular team meetings training sessions and performance reviews.
- Provide coaching mentoring and field support to enhance team capabilities.
- Build a high-performing sales team culture.
3. Cluster Management
- Oversee business operations across multiple locations within the assigned cluster.
- Ensure consistent business growth across all territories.
- Monitor sales performance productivity metrics and team KPIs.
- Coordinate with regional and central teams for the smooth execution of business strategies.
4. Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and key stakeholders.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Work closely with internal departments such as operations underwriting and product teams to resolve issues quickly.
- Strengthen channel relationships to enhance business flow.
5. Sales Planning & Strategy
- Develop cluster-level sales plans and growth strategies.
- Analyse market trends competitor activities and customer needs.
- Identify opportunities for market expansion and product penetration.
- Implement initiatives to improve cross-sell ratios and productivity.
6. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Track and analyse sales reports team productivity and performance metrics.
- Prepare and present business performance reports to senior management.
- Ensure timely reporting pipeline management and forecasting.
7. Compliance & Process Adherence
- Ensure strict adherence to organisational policies regulatory guidelines and compliance standards.
- Monitor documentation and operational processes to maintain quality standards.
- Ensure all team members follow ethical sales practices.
