Job Description:

Overview:

Hands-on Lab Network Engineer responsible for building and managing lab environments

Supports testing validation and demo of advanced networking solutions

Qualifications:

3 5 years of experience in network engineering or lab infrastructure

Strong understanding of IP networking and routing protocols

Hands-on experience with Cisco CNC VMware ESXi and Linux

Experience with troubleshooting tools like Wireshark ping and traceroute

Key Responsibilities:

Deploy and configure Cisco Crosswork Network Controller (CNC) in VMware environments

Design and implement network topologies for simulations and proof-of-concepts

Perform manual and remote reboot/recovery of routers and switches

Troubleshoot network issues using logs and diagnostic tools

Maintain documentation of lab setups configurations and test results

Collaborate with engineering and product teams for testing and validation

Automate lab tasks using Python Bash and Ansible

Ensure lab environments are secure updated and production-aligned

Core Skill Areas:

Cisco CNC deployment on VMware (VMware ESXi Linux CLI)

Network fundamentals (TCP/IP BGP OSPF VLAN ACLs)

Network topology design (Visio Lucidchart Packet Tracer)

Device reboot/recovery (SSH console SNMP tools)

Network troubleshooting (Wireshark logs traceroute)

Lab automation (Python Ansible Bash)
