Location:Patcham Nursing Home Brighton
Salary:13.45 per hour (Reviewed Annually) weekend enhancement
Hours:30 hours per week flexible including some weekends
Contract:Permanent Part Time

We are looking for a passionate Activities Coordinator to join our 30 bed Nursing Home As an Activities Coordinator you will design organise and lead engaging activities that enrich the lives of our residents.
The Activities Coordinator role is key to creating a lively supportive and fun environment helping residents maintain social connections independence and wellbeing.
As our Activities Coordinator you will work closely with the care team to deliver person-centred activities seasonal events and creative programmes that bring joy and variety to daily life.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan organise and deliver a range of recreational and therapeutic activities as the Activities Coordinator
- Engage residents in social creative and physical activities to support wellbeing
- Collaborate with the care team to personalise activities for residents abilities and preferences
- Maintain records of activities and participation ensuring high-quality delivery
- Help create a positive stimulating and safe environment within the home
Who Were Looking For
- Previous experience as an Activities Coordinator or in a similar role (desirable)
- Enthusiastic creative and confident leading groups of residents
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Organised and able to plan programmes independently
- Passionate about improving quality of life for older adults
