Position Details:
- Job Title: Workday Security Analyst

- Location: Hyderabad India (Preferred)
- Work Model: Hybrid (Hyderabad Office); Remote considered for exceptional candidates
- Travel: Up to 15% (U.S. client sites as needed)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Workday Security Analyst to design configure and manage the security framework within Workday HCM Financials and related modules. This role is critical in ensuring secure compliant and efficient access across complex Workday environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across the U.S. and India.
Key Responsibilities
- Design configure and maintain Workday security roles domain security policies and business process security policies
- Manage role-based user-based and segment-based security groups including intersection and aggregation groups
- Conduct security audits access reviews and segregation of duties (SoD) analysis
- Ensure compliance with SOX HIPAA GDPR and other regulatory frameworks
- Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into security configurations
- Troubleshoot and resolve security-related issues (access errors reporting visibility integrations authentication)
- Support tenant security during implementations upgrades and Workday releases
- Configure and maintain SSO MFA and SAML-based authentication
- Develop and maintain security documentation and knowledge base articles
- Ensure proper security access for integrations (EIBs Workday Studio) and reports
- Recommend and implement Workday security best practices
Requirements
- 4 years of hands-on experience in Workday Security configuration and administration
- Strong expertise in Workday security model (domain business process role-based configurable security)
- Experience with Workday HCM and/or Financials
- Knowledge of Workday integrations (EIBs Core Connectors Studio) and report security
- Understanding of SSO SAML 2.0 OAuth and MFA
- Experience in security audits access certifications and SoD reviews
- Familiarity with SOX HIPAA GDPR compliance
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Cybersecurity or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Workday Pro Certification (HCM or Security)
- Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning Recruiting or Extend
- Background in healthcare or government sector projects
- Experience managing multiple Workday tenants (Sandbox Implementation Production)
- Valid U.S. work visa for client travel
- Experience working in onshore-offshore delivery model
