Transport Center Analyst
Job Summary
WHAT YOULL DO
As the Transport Center Analyst you support financial accuracy and operational efficiency in the local transport operations center aiding decision-making and process improvements to enhance overall efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities :
Financial Planning & Cost Management
- Assist with financial processes for all transport activities ensuring accuracy and timeliness in budget accruals invoice validation and settlements.
- Support the preparation and alignment of financial plans with regional objectives contributing to budgets and forecasts.
Coordination & Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to align financial and operational processes.
Process & Workflow Optimisation
- Contribute to projects aimed at enhancing efficiency and cost-effectiveness in transport operations.
- Maintain and optimise data management tools to improve data accuracy and workflows.
Performance Analysis & Decision Support
- Assist in maintaining adherence to financial and operational targets by monitoring KPIs and supporting performance goal setting.
- Monitor and report on transport operations performance identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Ensure operational accuracy in transport unit flows through stock analysis and inventory controls.
- Provide insights for decision-making by helping prepare financial and operational summaries.
- Contribute to financial analyses and business cases to support tenders and business decisions
WHO YOU ARE
- Basic understanding of financial management including budgeting forecasting accruals and invoice verification.
- Familiarity with using data management and analytics software to support performance analysis and improve workflows.
- Basic analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and operational data.
- Ability to assist in monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and supporting performance improvement efforts.
- Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing financial and operational issues.
- Good communication and collaboration skills to work with internal departments and external partners at various levels.
- Familiarity with developing tools and models for operational and financial forecasting using basic data management and analytics software.

Additional Information :
This is a full-time position reporting to the Transport Operations Manager for India. This position is based at our distribution centre in Bhiwandi Maharashtra India.
