Pay Rate: $18.25/hour
Employment Type: Temporary / Ongoing (based on performance and client needs)

Job Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Industrial Sewer to join our clients production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sewing bags and slings using heavy-duty materials in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires hands-on experience with industrial sewing machines and a strong focus on quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate industrial sewing machines including:
* Single needle machine
* Surging (overlock/serger) machine
* Walking foot machine (REQUIRED)
* Sew bags slings and heavy-duty materials as per specifications
* Handle thick and heavy materials with precision
* Read and interpret work orders production sheets and patterns
* Ensure accuracy alignment and durability of stitching
* Inspect finished products and maintain quality standards
* Perform basic machine adjustments (threading tension needle changes)
* Maintain a clean and organized workstation
* Meet daily production targets and deadlines
* Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Requirements (MUST HAVE)
* Minimum 12 years of industrial sewing experience
* Experience working with heavy-duty materials (MANDATORY)
* Hands-on experience with:
* Single needle machines
* Surging/serger machines
* Walking foot machines (CRITICAL)
* Experience sewing bags slings or similar products
* Ability to sew straight strong and consistent stitches
* Strong attention to detail and quality control
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Physically capable of handling heavy materials and repetitive tasks
* Reliable and punctual
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in a manufacturing/production environment
* Familiarity with materials such as canvas vinyl or reinforced fabrics
* Ability to troubleshoot minor machine issues
Shift Details
Monday to Friday
9:30 AM 5:00 PM
Additional Requirements
* Must bring own lunch snacks and drinks (if applicable)
* Must be punctual and reliable
* Must follow all onboarding and safety procedures
* Steel-toe shoes or PPE may be required
