We are seeking an exceptional and collegiate academic leader to join our inclusive and collaborative team and play a significant role in enhancing the research output whilst contributing to the Facultys core teaching areas. This Professorial (Level E) role provides a unique opportunity to influence and develop the Facultys curriculum and research training programs thereby shaping the future of educational research and practice.
This position demands a special responsibility in shaping policy development and academic excellence within the Faculty the University and the broader scholarly and general community. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of the Facultys mission driving innovative research and fostering new research collaborations that align with the Facultys strategic goals.
About You
We are excited to welcome internationally recognised collegial academic leaders who are eager to shape the success of Monash Law and who have a passion for educational excellence and rigorous impactful research. Your leadership in fostering research excellence is evident through your successful acquisition of competitive grants and your active involvement in significant research projects.
We particularly welcome applications from individuals in disciplines that will further strengthen our research leadership and teaching offerings such as:
- Legal Ethics;
- Property Law;
- Equity; or
- Trusts.
We welcome interest from legal scholars who take all and any approaches to their research (doctrinal historical comparative philosophical and so on) as we look to build our capacity and expertise in socio-legal scholarship and research methodologies.
Additionally with the largest clinical legal education programme in Australia and having celebrated 50 years of clinics in 2025 we are interested to hear from those who are able to further strengthen our clinical expertise.
