Who you are:
Archipelago is seekinganAssociate Account Executiveto join our growing go-to-market and sales organization a teamthat iscollaborative transparent and supportive both in person and remotely.
Asan Associate Account Executive you willhelppreserveand expand our customer base bysupportingoursales leadership through reporting forecasting anddataanalysis.Youllwork alongside experienced sales professionals toidentifygrowth opportunities and help turn them into profitable long-term customer relationships built on trust and mutual satisfaction. The ideal candidate has a background in risk management a talent for customer service and the ability to balance a customer-first mindset with a results-driven approach.
You willbe responsible forassistingsales leadership withbuildingpipelineacquiring new logos and the associated ARR attributed to those logos.Using your analytical skills you will assess customer data to surface trends flag risks andidentifyexpansion opportunities within the existing customer base.You will also help nurture andmaintainstrong relationships with current customers ensuring their satisfaction and long-term retention.
To besuccessfulyou will work cross-functionally withmarketing team business development sales engineering sales development repsto support end-to-end sales process.You will prepare polished presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders clearly conveying insights and recommendations. Your understanding of the risk management landscape will be essential in helping position Archipelagos solutions effectively with companies thatown and/or occupy over $8B of commercial property helping thembecome valued Archipelago customersbytransformingthe way they manage understand and mitigate their property data and risks.
You will assess painpointsand value alignment with our solution develop a comprehensive understanding of each prospect coordinate the involvement of sales engineeringand helpdrive the contracting process to itscompletionand provide feedback internally on our learnings in the market.
This includes all typical activities involved in building relationships conducting research and supporting the end-to-end sales process.
Engaging prospects will be done through a combination of video conference calls and in person meetings where travel will be. You willuseyour best judgmenttodeterminethe most effective methods and timing to move opportunities to completion.
Responsibilities:
- Support and help drive sales goals byassistingin prospecting qualifying and managing new business opportunities with a focus on buildingpipelinewithin key insurancebrokerand commercial property accounts.
- Prepare and developdata analysis andpresentations forprospectmeetings.
- Conduct demonstrations andtraining of the Archipelago platform to show valueproposition.
- Partner with sales leadership to run discovery conversations support product demonstrations andassistin coordinating structured pilots with clear success criteria and timelines.
- Prepare Customer Order Forms andassistin managing the contracting process in collaboration with Finance Legal and Security teams.
- Partner closely with your Commercial Account Managers on their account prioritization ensuring your efforts maximize revenue opportunities within accounts
- Cross-Functional Collaboration - Partner with Marketing/BDR on targeted campaigns; work with Product and Customer Success to translate pilot feedback into wins and expansions.
- Operational Excellence -Maintaincompleteaccurate CRM hygiene (activities contacts stages next steps); report on KPIs and continuously refine the sales process.
Qualifications:
- 1-4 years of experience in the Property Insurance industry
- Bachelors degree in Risk Managementor a related field or equivalent professional experience
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and sharp attention to detail
- Deep curiosity for product knowledge with a passion for translating that understanding into customer solutions
- High-energy self-starter who takes initiative brings fresh ideas andoperateswitha strong senseof urgency
- Strong work ethic with a resourceful ownership-oriented mindset willing to go the extra mile
- Collaborative team player who thrives in a pod team structure and understands that collective effort drives sales success
- Willingness to travel domestically

Salary Rangein CA/NY:Basesalary$80000 - $100000plus incentive compensation.
