We have an opportunity to join a Senior Field Applications Engineer for our Honeywell Sensing Solutions (HSS) team in Spain and support the South European markets. As a Senior Field Applications Engineer with HSS you will be responsible for creating multiple business opportunity by identifying new application keeping the existing product and technology at its core. This includes creating a right product pipeline in working with external customer Offering management and Engineering team in Industrial Automation (IA).
Duties include liaising with various stakeholders build NPI pipeline prioritize the NPI pipeline having biggest business impact and create a healthy project delivery with maximum ROI. This includes extensive coordination with various Honeywell cross-functional team like Offering Management Engineering team and various vendors for as required for quick prototype. The activities would focus on ideation to NPI conversion and customer requirement into product requirement followed by technical delivery.
The portfolio to support is the custom-engineered sensors switches machine safeguarding and other devices offering enhanced precision repeatability and durability to a variety of original equipment manufacturers.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to our customers and to the sales teams of the region assigned.
- Develop new applications while integrating and utilizing existing product technologies to maintain consistency and reliability.
- Collaborate with offering management engineering and customers to gather prioritize and refine product and customer requirements.
- Define the product vision and ensure the alignment of technical objectives with overall product strategy and customer needs.
- Identify potential risks in all projects and implement effective mitigation strategies to ensure timely and successful project completion.
- Monitor and achieve organizational metrics related to safety quality delivery cost productivity and customer feedback to support business growth and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Electronics Electrical etc.)
- At least 5 years of Account Management and/or Applications Engineer experience in B2B technical sales in a Manufacturing/OEM environment with high added value solutions. Sensing Solutions is a plus.
- Ability to manage and deliver desired results in a timely and turnaround time driven environment
- Strong customer focus and the ability to establish a trusted advisor standing
- Native Spanish speaker.
- Proficiency level in English.
- Proficiency level in French or Italian.
- Maximum 30% willingness to travel across South European countries when to perform client visits related to projects when required.
- Based on a home office environment but associated to our legacy office in either Madrid or Barcelona other heavy industrialized areas may be considered as well.
