The paid internship begins June 1st and will last for approximately 12 weeks through August 21st. We require 20-25 hours per week at a minimum of 3 days in the office per week. We welcome the opportunity to apply your time with us towards university credit.

What you should expect

Not all internships are created equal. At Schaefer Advertising our interns get the opportunity to work on real client projects gain real-world knowledge and be mentored by some of the industrys best. Our goal is to help provide our interns with an immersive agency experience that will help them build a foundation as they get ready to enter their first advertising job. And if youre a rockstar and the stars align that first advertising job could be on the Schaefer team.

What do we expect out of you

Long gone are the days of interns fetching coffee or just taking meeting recap notes. Our expectation is for you to be an active member of our team. That means you will be asked to own projects have a point-of-view meet deadlines and join in on all of the nitty-gritty of our day-to-day work.

Growth and Innovation Intern:

This is not a sit back and observe internship. This is an opportunity to contribute to real growth effortsboth in how we think and how we execute.

In this role youll:

Spot whats next: Track competitors monitor market activity and identify companies and contacts that represent real opportunity
Build the pipeline: Research organize and maintain target lists of prospects with a high level of accuracy and detail
Create connection: Support outreach efforts and campaigns that open doors and start meaningful conversations
Strengthen how we grow: Maintain and improve CRM data track outreach activity and help us see whats working and where we can improve
Support new business efforts: Contribute to RFP responses and materials that position us to win
Run smart experiments: Test new ideas tools and approaches to help us grow more effectively

Requirements:

3.25 cumulative GPA or higher
Advertising/Marketing Business or similar field of study
Must be available to work 20-25 hours per week for 12 weeks. Must be available to work at a minimum three days per week in the office
Rising junior or senior or recently graduated
Course experience in Principles of Marketing Consumer Behavior Brand Strategy and/or Entrepreneurship Marketing Analytics
You must sign a confidentiality agreement
You must have a valid drivers license

Pay is $12 an hour 15-20 hours a week plus school credit if applicable.
