Job Summary
As a SDE youll drive the development of next-generation communication features powered by advanced AI technologies including Generative Agentic and Real-time AI. Youll work closely with cross-functional teams including product management design and data science to design and deliver innovative solutions that leverage these AI technologies to enable seamless intelligent communication experiences. Youll also lead the integration of these advanced AI systems into Alexas core capabilities ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.
Key job responsibilities
- Influence product and technology strategy by helping define the product features refine system architecture and spearhead Agentic AI and LLM best practices that enable a quality product.
- Build agentic APIs to deliver a low latency low cost highly reliable and high scalable cloud services and device software solutions.
- Drive and lead software design development standards team processes and code reviews.
- Optimize software libraries for low latency CPU and memory footprint.
- Deliver high-quality software through working in a dynamic team-focused Agile/Scrum environment
- Contributing to the professional development of colleagues improving their technical knowledge and engineering practices.

- 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2 years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. As a total compensation company Amazons package may include other elements such as sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
