About the Role
As Project Manager you will be responsible for planning executing and delivering projects from concept through to completion. You will ensure projects are delivered on time within budget and to the highest quality standards while acting as the central point of coordination between stakeholders consultants contractors and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead project delivery across all stages from feasibility through to close-out
Assess project opportunities and identify and manage risks
Prepare feasibility studies budgets procurement documentation and project scopes
Manage design consultants to ensure timely delivery of design documentation
Oversee contractors subcontractors and suppliers to ensure works align with design and consent requirements
Develop and maintain project programmes including critical path analysis
Monitor project progress resolve delays and manage time extension claims
Ensure compliance with all regulatory consent and quality requirements
Coordinate all stakeholders including trades consultants and local authorities
Procure materials in line with programme and specifications
Chair site and project control group meetings and maintain accurate records
Review and support approval of progress claims and invoices
Manage RFIs and project communications across all parties
Support quantity surveying functions including variations and final accounts
Ensure all compliance and close-out documentation is completed and submitted
About You
You are a practical and experienced Project Manager with a strong construction background and a proven ability to deliver successful projects. You bring both technical expertise and leadership capability to manage complex builds and diverse stakeholder groups.
Skills and Experience
PMP PMI or Prince2 certification preferred
3 to 5 years experience in project coordination or management
10 years hands-on carpentry experience
LBP1 or LBP2 licence preferred
Strong knowledge of MS Project and Microsoft Office Suite
Proven ability to manage supplier and trade relationships
Strong procurement and materials management capability
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Effective leadership and team coordination ability
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Solid problem-solving capability and commercial awareness
Good understanding of construction methodologies and project management frameworks
