Position Summary:
This role will assist with content creation for move-in day and NSO. Responsibilities include capturing and editing photography and videography for social media usage.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2.75 GPA
- Knowledge of videography and photography - capturing and editing video or photos for social media
- Able to work independently
- Strong character and integrity
- Interest in videography and storytelling marketing photography and design preferred.
- Ideally a flexible schedule to work on assigned events
Expected Duties and Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate loves Covenant and wants to be a part of sharing our story with prospective students parents and alumni. The purpose is to develop visually compelling and emotionally engaging content that portrays the community academic excellence spiritual formation and professional development that a Covenant education provides. Our goal for this position is to provide relevant work experience that can be used on your résumé as you enter the workforce post-Covenant.
- Capture photos and videos for social media and other marketing channels using a smartphone or a camera
- Edit photos and videos to be posted on social media using Adobes Creative Suite
- Upload and organize content to the marketing drive promptly
- Assist in planning content for social media
- Self-motivated capable of working without micromanagement willing to take stewardship over projects and solve problems and meet deadlines
- Be available to attend on and off-campus events to capture footage and photos.
