We are looking for an inspiring Geography Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Crawley. The Role
As a Geography Teacher you will join a high-performing Humanities department. You will be responsible for delivering a contemporary and diverse curriculum across KS3 and KS4 with the potential to lead A-Level Geography modules for a candidate with the right expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Innovation: Delivering lessons that cover both physical processes (glaciation plate tectonics) and human geography (globalization development gaps).
Fieldwork Excellence: Planning and leading local and regional fieldwork trips to give students hands-on experience with geographical data collection.
GIS Integration: Utilizing Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and digital mapping tools to modernize the learning experience.
Exam Success: Preparing students for GCSE examinations with a focus on case study mastery and evaluative writing skills.

The Ideal Candidate:
Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and a relevant degree in Geography or Environmental Science.
Has a proven ability to engage students with varied learning needs through differentiated resources.
Is passionate about environmental issues and keen to lead Green initiatives within the school.
Possesses excellent ICT skills and a commitment to data-led student progress.
