Job Summary

We are an industrial company specialized in the manufacturing of components for electric hybrid and internal combustion vehicles. We are supported by 4000 employees across 6 countries operating in 13 production units and 3 engineering centers serving more than 100 customers worldwide.

At Draxton Lleida we are looking to incorporate a Health & Safety Technician (PRL). In this role you will be responsible for leading and coordinating Health & Safety management at the plant ensuring legal compliance and promoting a strong preventive culture throughout the organization.

You will be part of a dynamic industrial environment where your contribution will be key to minimizing risks preventing accidents and ensuring both collective and individual safety for all employees. This position reports directly to the Plant Management of Lleida.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate the comprehensive management of Occupational Health & Safety at the plant ensuring compliance with legal regulations and corporate policies.

  • Assess occupational risks across different workstations and follow up on the Prevention Plan and associated preventive actions.

  • Manage and investigate workplace accidents incidents and occupational diseases proposing and monitoring corrective actions.

  • Coordinate business activities and manage the relationship with the external Prevention Service including the organization of medical check-ups.

  • Deliver and manage Health & Safety training (initial and role-specific) ensuring proper document control.

  • Define monitor and supervise the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as well as track stock levels and plant needs.

  • Monitor Health & Safety indicators (accident rates frequency incidents) and promote a preventive culture focused on continuous improvement and peoples safety.


To succeed in this role you will need:

  • University degree in Engineering.

  • At least 3 years of experience in Occupational Health & Safety management.

  • Advanced Health & Safety Technician certification in Safety Ergonomics and Applied Psychosociology.

  • Knowledge of OHSAS 18001 and ISO 45001 standards.

  • User-level IT skills.

  • High level of English would be an asset.

  • Full-time 100% on-site position. Monday to Thursday start time between 7:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. with departure from 5:00 p.m. onwards. Intensive working hours on Fridays. Flexible lunch break between 30 minutes and 1.5 hours.
