The Customer Service Representative PET Foams is a key member of the Canadian Customer Service team. The position is responsible for providing effective order processing customer satisfaction and support including information feedback to external and internal customers. The CSR will track and report key performance measurements to the organization in order to achieve maximum results and will positively influence all working processes support key processes to deliver the highest performance in terms of efficiency costs and time. The CSR will work daily with the Sales representatives to ensure a high service level. Armacell Canada Inc. has three other Customer Service Reps focused on different business portfolios. This position will be responsible for customer service activities for the PET portfolio however will be working collaboratively with the other CSRs essentially supporting each other towards a customer-focused organization.

Main tasks Description;

Incumbent is responsible for following tasks:

1.) Customer interface Customer interface Interact with customers on behalf of the organization. Responding to customer queries in a timely and accurate way via phone and/or email. Participate from time to time on internal and external meetings join customer visits with Sales Manager (when applicable).

2.) Order to cash Process all types of customer orders from order reception to shipments including follow-up of overdue-invoices within defined area and in close collaboration with Sales Manager

3.) Coordination Direct & permanent contact with production and planning to get ship-date confirmed. Support and coordinate transport process with LOGISTICS for forwarder and freight costs decisions as well as Export shipments

4.) Daily order management to ensure that the delivery of all ArmaPET products are in time with an accurate invoice at the customer

  • Ensure internal and external follow up and monitoring of customers requests to their best satisfaction

  • Ensure ad hoc coordination with production planning and logistic in order to meet customers requests as well as the company business objectives

5.) Issue to resolution Help and resolve (internal/external) customer issues and complaints offering an appropriate resolution that satisfies the customer and/or collect all relevant information and relay it to the appropriate contact

6.) Client portfolio consistency Active usage and update when necessary of customer-database (Outlook Sales Force SAP) keep records of customers interactions create and store quotes customer orders & documents.

7.) Active Sales Support Contact partner for the PET Sales Teams and support their requests. Provide information proposals feedback to reach the Sales targets.

8.) Armacell mindset Support actively WAM-strategy and KPI/KAI and measurements as well as the company strategy mission & vision. Respect and maintain safety environmental and quality policies. Suggest new methods processes to improve efficiency and if needed take part in companys project activities with the support of its manager.

9.) Provide back-up Provides backup support for Armacell Canadas Component Foam and Americas Insulation divisions as required.

Job requirements:

  • Location/office: Brampton

  • Preferred: Bachelors degree/College diploma with 5 years of related experience required or equivalent experience.

  • Professional experience: 2 years minimum

  • Field: Commercial business customer relation order to cash

Other competencies / knowledge:

  • Very good knowledge of MS Office applications

  • Knowledge of a CRM (Customer Relationship Management)

  • Knowledge and use of an ERP (Enterprise Resources Planning)

  • Knowledge and use of IP telephony

  • Good knowledge of the firms product

  • Excellent communication skills (spoken and written) among a cross cultural global team

  • Team spirit
